These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Hashtory and all related services operated by Hashtory ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Hashtory reads publicly available blockchain data and uses artificial intelligence to present it in plain language. The Service includes tools that explain transactions and wallet activity, display balances and portfolio information for wallet addresses you save to your account, generate activity reports, monitor on-chain addresses, and assist with blockchain research and investigation.
All outputs are informational summaries of public blockchain data. Outputs may be incomplete or incorrect, and complex transactions may not be captured in full. Always verify information independently before relying on it. Hashtory does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and no output of the Service constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or take any action.
Hashtory is open to all visitors, but creating an account and accessing paid features requires you to be 18 or older. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
Hashtory offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected). Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method through Stripe at the start of each billing period. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
We may change pricing from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before a price increase takes effect on your existing subscription. Continuing to use the Service after notice constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will retain access until then.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) scrape, crawl, or automated-query the Service beyond any rate limits we set; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the Service; or (d) resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission. You agree that any of these actions constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
We query only publicly available on-chain data. Hashtory never asks you to sign a transaction or message and never requests your private keys or seed phrases. If you choose to connect a wallet, the only information shared with Hashtory is your public wallet address, and you can use the Service fully without connecting a wallet by entering addresses manually. The Hashtory name, logo, and software are owned by Hashtory. Blockchain data is public and not owned by us. The plain-language outputs we generate are provided to you for your use; we make no claim of ownership over them.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that outputs are complete, accurate, or error-free. Blockchain data is complex and edge cases exist. Artificial intelligence can and does make mistakes. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on Hashtory outputs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hashtory and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent allowed under applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the greater of (i) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (ii) $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hashtory from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 7, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. You irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
These Terms, plus the Privacy Policy and any policies referenced from them, are the full agreement between you and Hashtory about the Service.
